Broomhead Res: Glaucous Gull - 1 - 1st winter ; Sparrowhawk - 1 - On Wood Pigeon kill at roadside. Surprisingly appeared to be a male with rusty throat and blue tinged upperparts.
Carr Vale Nature Reserve: Pink-footed Goose - 90 - Still present this morning until the local shoot appeared and now they have gone----, still an 8 day stay is very good. At CV today 155 Wigeon, 40 Teal, 35 Stock Doves and 16 Lesser Redpoll.
