Indoor Meetings

Indoor meetings are usually held in the University Arts Tower Lecture Theatre 5, on the second Wednesday of each month (except July and August) and include: an illustrated talk by an ornithologist of local or national standing, news of forthcoming events, features on identification and local habitats and recent bird news from the Sheffield area.

Meetings start at 7:15pm and finish by 9:30pm, and are free to members; non-members welcome, a £2 fee applies for temporary membership. See also: Dates For Your Diary for further detail on imminent events.

The SBSG Committee reserves the right to amend the programme and/or make a small admission charge as necessary, giving as much notice as circumstances allow.

Field Meetings

An annual programme of field meetings includes by minibus includes trips to coastal and inland localities.

All will be held on Sundays, unless otherwise stated, and dates will be announced in the SBSG bulletin when possible or in "Dates For Your Diary".
