What are we looking for?

A 'Gallery' of any kind is a place you visit to see great images, ones that stand out.  So if you take any pics that are technically good, show scarcer species or interesting behaviour, or are particularly atmospheric, then please do send them in using the link above. 

I have a number of quality photos on file with almost no details at all.  So please include in the filename of each photo:

• Species
• Date photo was taken
• Location
• Your name
• Any comments you would like to appear when people view it

So a suitable filename might be 'Goshawk F 120709 howden johnsmith.jpg', with 'circling over Cow Hey mobbed by crows' inserted into 'Properties/Summary/Comments'.

All photos must of course have been taken in the SBSG recording area!

Please note that if you submit a photo to SBSG you are giving us the right to use it anywhere on the site and not just in the Gallery.  Copyright will be acknowledged wherever the photo is displayed.
